It fits into a bino harness while installed and quickly and securely mounts to a tripod. Simply the best way to mount your binoculars to tripod for stabilty while glassing!<br />\n<br />\n<br><strong>Sizing:<br />\n<br />\nStep 1:</strong><br />\nTo get started you will need:<br />\nBinoculars<br />\nShort section of dental floss or other small diameter string<br />\nRuler/tape measure<br />\nSharpie (Not required, but helpful)<br />\n<br />\n<strong>Step 2:</strong><br />\nChoose where on your binos you want the clamp to sit. I recommend you place it as close to the center of gravity as possible - on most binos this is directly in front of the center pivot. (Except on open bridge binos, where you can put the clamp centered between the bridges). Wrap the small section of string tightly around the binoculars in the chosen location - you are trying to get the most accurate circumference measurement possible.
