I wear an XL size glove, my hand wraps around the grip with immense comfort. For the size, it wears comfortably on the body in appendix carry position, I am 5'7\" 145lbs. First time at the range I ran approximately 375 rounds through it in a matter of a few hours with only 2 magazines. No hot spots in primary grip hand with no noticeable fatigue. It fired every round I brought. Despite having zero feeding issues, my only issue with my KDS9C was that I was having failure to load problems only when racking the slide to chamber a round. No issues stripping a round out of the magazine while using the slide release lever. I was trying to chalk up my failure to load issue due to the gun being brand new and new to me. However, the RO at my local range had the same result as I did. After field stripping, completely cleaning, and re-oiling the KDS9C I had hopes it would take care of the failure to load problem. No luck. After further reading on online forums I learned that other owners had the same issue. Multiple KDS9C owners reported they sent their gun to Kimber and it returned to them in flawless working order. I have not received mine back yet at the time of writing this review. I have confidence Kimber is going to make it right as others have experienced. I am still leaving a five star review on this gun. I am not going to strike down the design or performance of the KDS9C. It is evident today that many manufactures struggle with quality control. The customer service I have received from Kimber is five stars.
