I used to have an old Camelbak tri-zip when I was in the military and I thought it was the most convenient pack ever. I used that until it was falling apart and forgot about it until this came out. For the most part, it’s great. The interior has good organization, the laptop compartment holds my 15” MacBook no problem with my iPad, no qualms with the interior one bit. Now for the exterior, mostly, it’s good. The top pocket makes items easy to get, the bottom is a nice a touch.. the water bottle pockets, suck. I guess if you decide to just never use the compression straps they’re fine. They’re deep, and maybe if you have a 20 something oz bottle it fits, but you can forget about squeezing anything over that with the compression straps on (even loose). I feel like this is a big oversight. It’s so tight it squeezes into the main compartment using up the interior space.
