{"reviews":[{"id":7537240,"locale":"en_US","rating":3,"title":"Warm jacket with significantly flawed design","text":"The Good: the jacket is very comfortable and reliably warm. The fleece lining is comfortable when it’s warmer out as well. I generally get too warm in coats like this but no overheating so far, which is great. \n\nThe Not So Good: The coat is well intended with its layers, but the execution is frankly disappointing. The inner layer is zipped in on both sides of the shell, and then buttoned in at the top through a thin loop as well as on each sleeve. The result is an inner layer that is almost uncomfortable sometimes. With no bottom loop/button snap to secure it in place, the fleece rides up in the back quite easily. The loops on the sleeves simply aren’t enough to keep the sleeves in place either, so the fleece layer inevitable pokes out with your hand every time you put it on. This wouldn’t be as big of a deal if you don’t have the wrists tightened, but I do to try to keep it waterproof as I quickly learned that if they’re not, the fleece sleeves WILL get wet and become exceptionally uncomfortable to have to wear. \n\nConceptually, this jacket is fantastic, but I wouldn’t spend the money on another. I found the breath ability for its warmth strong enough that I’d consider giving it 4 stars, but the flawed design of it makes it tough for me to justify let alone give three stars. I can easily zip out the liner on warmer days, or leave it in when it's good and chilly out. Excellent for everything except for on blizzard conditions and harsh winter. I do wish they made it just a tad bit looser. While sizing up might fix the problem of it being stiff, then I would have to deal with a much looser jacket. However, my arms are rather large so this may just be a me problem.
