I would NOT buy it if I had to do over because they are non refundable and you CANNOT find accessories in stock. I bought this (partly) to use with a pistol and the Piston mounts have not been available anywhere at all in MANY MONTHS. That's a lot of money to spend on a paper weight. I initially put this on a Marlin 1895SBL 45-70 and this thing exceeded my expectations. Tried it on my .450 Bushmaster next and it was definitely hearing safe on both guns. Had pretty much convinced myself I'd wasted both time and money. Took it out to the range and put in on my AR15 and started shooting. WOW...you could barely hear the rifle firing.
