My husband has smoked a few things on it so far, including the Thanksgiving Turkey and so far we have nothing but great things to say. Everything has tasted wonderfully without a big learning curve to get used to a new grill. We can’t wait to try new things on it. In general, it has worked fine. However, this past weekend I was planning to smoke a brisket. While this 140$ piece of meat was sitting on my counter coming up to room temp. I went to start my Traeger, but no go. \"ER 10\" shows up on the screen. Frantically trying to figure out the problem we call customer service. Customer service has me take apart the whole air box assembly and circuit board control. In the end they BELIEVE the ignitor/hot rod is bad. I questioned what they would do for my lost brisket sitting on the counter. Nothing. I ask could they also send me the circuit board just in case that was the problem. They said it was part of the whole ignitor air box assembly so I asked if they could send that just to make sure. They said no. So here i am with 140$ brisket waisted. I had to take apart the whole grill, and they can't even in good faith just send me a new assembly not even being sure if it was the ignitor or the control board. The box becomes a play house which we've kept for weeks now and is endless fun for the kids. I did gave to do a combination of videos plus the guide to put it together, season it, and do my first cook. Now that i have the hang of it, its easy to cook and the food we've made are absolutely amazing. All the sales and technical support information on Traegers website show 165F for all Woodridge models. Between this and Traegers wireless probes inability to pair with the Woodridge Pro greatly disappoints me. I have spent countless hours talking with Technical Support over these issues with no problem resolution. As a side note, If you have occasion to call Tech Support, ask which Tech support call center you have reached. If they say Egypt, hang up and try to reach another call center. In my experience, The Egypt call center has displayed the highest level of incompetence I have ever experienced. Not only were they woefully ill trained, they would outright lie when responding to a question regarding shipment dates of warranty parts. The Costa Rica call center on the other hand was a joy to work with. They were incredibly competent and always did what they said. From unboxing and assembly to cooking it is exactly as advertised with no surprises . However there is one unresolved problem with an accessory, not the unit. The Traeger wireless probes would never pair. Hours were spent with Customer Support trying to resolve the problem. Traeger sent replacement wireless probes (I now have 4 probes, all brand new sitting on a shelf), I replaced the control display/head with no success. I would caution everyone about buying them because I'm not the only one having this problem. On multiple forums this problem appears and it seems the pairing problem is centered around primarily the Woodridge series. I'm hoping it's a firmware problem that can be fixed soon.
